Dêagadê Cosméticos
A store of its own, free from marketplace dependency.

The challenge
Dêagadê Cosméticos, a multi-brand distributor and retailer focused on women's haircare, especially for curly and coily hair, relied entirely on marketplaces to sell online. That limited its direct relationship with customers and reduced how much it could personalize the shopping experience. The challenge was building its own channel, one that reflected the brand's identity and was reliable on payments, logistics, and scalability.
The process
1. Choosing the platform
After weighing no-code options, I chose NuvemShop for its secure payment integrations, reliable shipping solutions, and flexibility for future customization and scale.
2. Digital identity
With no structured brand manual in place, just a logo and colors, I adapted the identity for digital interfaces, defined a visual hierarchy for the web, and created promotional banners and campaign visuals for the partner brands (Anna Telles, Betobita, Natura, Alphahall).

3. Building the e-commerce site
I built the site on NuvemShop, from catalog to checkout, with SEO tweaks, social media integration, invoice issuance, and a custom domain setup.

4. Testing and validation
I tested the full sales flow, from product selection to delivery confirmation, fine-tuning it for a smooth, trustworthy experience.

Results
- A standalone sales channel live and independent from the major marketplaces.
- A stronger digital identity, reinforcing the brand's connection with women and its focus on curly and coily hair.
- A secure payment environment and reliable logistics, building trust with customers.
- A solid foundation for the brand's digital growth and expansion.

What I learned
Freelance project that reinforced how important it is to design for the whole business, not just the screen: catalog, brand identity, operations, and the shopping experience all need to work together.
